This painting on paper A2 tell the story about a little girl in the primeval forest, the jungle. She breathes the humid air, her feet touch gently the wild grass, her toes feel the Mother Earth. She is admiring the wilderness, the beautiful scenery with a sleeping volcano afar. And then she meets an Iguana. They are staring at each other. They smile and feel inside that they know each other already. They are ready and excited for a journey of exploration.

This creation is inspired by a shamanic journey I experienced, where I met my animal guide, the Iguana.

This piece conveys to the world of Mother Earth, where you feel anchored to the roots, you feel safe and loved. Why a little girl? I don't know yet. Maybe something that remembers the curiosity and play of the inner child.
